Deep in the misty mountain rainforests of Brazil, in a small region just outside of Sao Paulo, natives of this region known as Piedade
lived to more than 100 years of age with great health — rarely suffering from common illnesses and degenerative diseases. For centuries,
these indigenous people have harbored a mystical secret, a key to everlasting health that wasn’t discovered by the rest of the world until
the mid—twentieth century by a Japanese researcher. Upon studying the behavior of these rare people, the researcher was able to attribute
their miraculous health to the locally grown Agaricus Blazei mushroom – one of nature's true miracle superfoods. It's no wonder that the
Piedade natives revered the Agaricus Blazei as the "mushroom of life."
Over the years, industrial growth in and around Sao Paulo led to the disappearance of the Agaricus Blazei mushroom grown in Piedade. However,
this miracle mushroom was not lost. Fortunately, the cultures sent from Brazil were well maintained in Japan.
